Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026.
1. The service
Channel Workbench audits the descriptions of videos on YouTube channels you connect, classifies the links, and reports likely issues such as broken redirects or dead links. The service is read-only by design and never edits, deletes, or uploads to your channel.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may disconnect any channel or delete your account at any time. Use of the service must comply with YouTube's API Services Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Findings are guidance, not facts
Channel Workbench reports possible issues based on automated checks. We use phrasing like "suggested review" rather than legal language. You're responsible for verifying any finding before acting on it. We make no warranty that a finding is correct or complete.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Stripe processes all payments. You can cancel any time from Billing; access continues until the end of your current period.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Channel Workbench to scan channels you don't own or manage. Don't attempt to circumvent plan limits, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to launch attacks against the linked sites we check.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Channel Workbench is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue arising from acting (or failing to act) on a finding.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
