For YouTube creators

Your old videos are still live.
Make sure they're still earning.

Affiliate links rot. Sponsor redirects 404. Promo codes expire. Channel Workbench scans every video in your back catalog and tells you exactly which links are losing you money — and exactly how to fix them.

How it works

One sweep. Every link. Ranked by what's actually costing you.

Most creators have hundreds of videos and thousands of links. Channel Workbench connects to YouTube, reads every description, classifies every link, checks every redirect chain, and shows you a prioritized list of fixes instead of a noisy crawler dump.

  1. 1 Connect YouTube Read-only OAuth. We never touch uploads, comments, or community posts.
  2. 2 Audit the catalog We scan descriptions, classify links, and check redirect chains.
  3. 3 Fix what matters Open YouTube Studio, update the link, mark fixed, and re-scan.

Broken affiliate links

Catch dead Amazon, Skimlinks, Awin and Impact links before they cost you another commission.

Dead sponsor redirects

Spot expired promo codes and broken sponsor URLs — the kind that quietly torpedo your CPMs.

Stale redirect chains

Detect 6-hop redirect chains, homepage fallbacks, and SSL issues that scare off buyers.

Missing affiliate tags

Find Amazon links that resolve fine but carry no tag= — clicks that send traffic to Amazon for free.

Low-rated products

Flag Amazon products rated below 3.5★ so you can swap them for better-reviewed alternatives that actually convert.

Weekly health email

A short Monday digest: what broke this week, what's fixed, what's earning again.

Reports

Simple reporting.

Export the queue for your editor, pull a PDF snapshot for clients, or keep a before-and-after record of what was broken, what mattered, and what got cleared.

FAQ

Quick answers

What permissions does it need on my YouTube channel?

Read-only access to your channel metadata, video list, and descriptions. We never request upload, comment, community, or analytics monetization scopes.

Will it edit my video descriptions for me?

No. Channel Workbench is read-only by design. You make edits in YouTube Studio yourself, then mark items fixed in the queue. We re-verify on the next scan.

How does it tell affiliate links from sponsor links?

A rules-based classifier inspects the host, query parameters (Amazon tag=, eBay campid=, etc.), affiliate networks like Skimlinks/Awin/Impact, and sponsor keyword cues in the surrounding line. You can also flag specific domains as creator-owned.

Can I tune how the scanner works?

Yes. Channel Workbench starts with sensible defaults, then lets you tune Amazon API credentials, revenue assumptions, ignored domains, sponsor domains, and creator-owned properties.

Revenue at risk assumptions for click-through rate, conversion rate, average order, and commission rate
Adjust the revenue model for your audience and affiliate mix.
Amazon API credential settings for credential ID, secret, associate tag, marketplace, and connection test
Use Amazon API credentials for stronger product availability checks.
Domain rules page with watched, ignored, known affiliate, known sponsor, and creator-owned rules
Tag domains so noisy, owned, sponsor, and affiliate links are treated correctly.
Can I really test it for free?

Yes. The Free Audit plan is permanent and gives you a full report on your 5 most recent videos so you can see what's broken before paying anything.

How do I get started?

Create an account, connect your YouTube channel with read-only access, and run your first Free Audit. You can upgrade when you are ready to scan more of your catalog and enable monitoring!
